Oil, coolant, brake fluid or fuel leaks are safety-critical faults. We identify the source of any fluid leak with pressure testing and inspect all seals, gaskets and lines.

Any fluid leak — oil, coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, power steering fluid or fuel — is a fault that should not be delayed. Hallmark technicians use pressure testing, dye tracing and visual inspection to locate and repair all leak sources.
Vehicle inspected under lift. Fluid type confirmed. UV light used to trace leak path back to source on oiled components.
Cooling or fuel system pressure-tested to OEM specification to confirm and locate slow leaks not visible at rest.
Identified seal, gasket, hose or joint replaced. Mating surfaces cleaned and inspected. OEM torque figures applied.
System refilled and re-pressurised. Vehicle operated to working temperature. Leak point confirmed dry before handover.
It depends on the fluid. Oil and coolant leaks: inspect within a few days. Brake fluid: same day — do not drive until inspected. Fuel: do not drive — call us immediately.
Small leaks from valve cover gaskets or the cam chain area can drip onto the exhaust manifold and burn off before reaching the floor. The burning smell appears but no puddle forms. We locate these with UV dye.
1–3 hours depending on the engine. Engines with complex intake manifold arrangements (BMW S58, Porsche flat-six) take longer due to access requirements.
